Board of Directors
KOOTASCA Community Action is lead by a passionate collective of Board members. They live and work in Itasca and Koochiching Counties, are committed to serving the bests interests of the community, and provide core leadership and strategic direction for KOOTASCA.
As a Community Action Agency, KOOTASCA Community Action is governed by a tripartite board system that is composed of one-third representation from low-income individuals and representatives democratically elected by their peers, one-third representation from elected officials holding public office, and one-third representation from the private sector.
