KOOTASCA Community Action is looking for individuals interested in participating on a KOOTASCA Advisory Committee. The committee will be made up of individuals who have used or are currently using Agency services and are dedicated to helping KOOTASCA find ways to better serve our clients and meet the needs of our communities.

“When we come together with creative ideas, energy and commitment–solutions can be found to issues surrounding inequity, injustice and barriers that keep people in poverty.”

So residents can participate near their home community, the Advisory Committee will meet quarterly in both Grand Rapids and International Falls. Committee meetings will begin in September 2019.

Committee members will receive a $20.00 Visa gift card for participation at each meeting they attend in appreciation of their contribution of time. Meetings will include a meal, and mileage and childcare expense reimbursement will also be available.

At KOOTASCA Community Action, we believe that the community should be open for everyone, no matter who you are. Our communities face challenges, and we believe that you are an important part of the solution.Your voice is necessary and we want to hear from you!
