People in poverty view life differently than people from wealth or middle class. By building relationships of mutual respect across class and race lines we’re empowering people in poverty to secure the resources they need to move toward stability or maintain it, and we can be transformed too.
This interactive workshop will use various forms of media to showcase our Circles of Support Community including personal testimony from the working poor in Itasca County and from volunteer allies who have come to know the pain of poverty through the friendships developed in Circles of Support.
